2.5 weeks to get your part? We get it. Not exactly fast in today's world. But, did you know we offered expedited shipping? More about shipping here.
Unlike stocked warehouse parts, our painted car parts are individually custom-painted here in Houston, TX.
If you care about the quality of the part you're getting, we promise the wait is worth it. You've spent countless hours researching and reading reviews to make sure you get the best possible product for your hard earned money, and you've come to the right place.
At ReveMoto, perfection counts. While we aren't the fastest at what we do, we're perfectionists in what we do. Every single step of this process is done the right way.
If you've ever wondered why another shop or dealership is cheaper, then one of these steps may be skipped or cheaper materials may be used.
Not all parts are made equal. From the number of times a mold is used in the manufacturing plant to the materials used in the manufacturing of the part itself, there are several factors to consider.
At ReveMoto, from sourcing our own parts overseas to partnering with reputable wholesalers & dealerships, we selectively choose where our aftermarket, CAPA and OEM auto body parts come from to ensure it meets our standards. That means that when you order a part, we're making sure you get an exact fit to your original car part with the same quality, flexibility and durability.
Once we're sure we have the right part you need, the first step includes making sure we prepare to paint the new part to match exactly what you have on your vehicle. Depending on your submodel (limited editions, sport models, etc), specific areas may need to be taped to prevent paint from getting through.
The second part to our prepping process includes scuffing and prepping the car par. Metal has to have primer or moisture and oxygen will eventually rust the metal. Plastic will not rust, but its smooth surface is hard for paint to adhere. So, in most cases, a primer is applied to promote adhesion of the paint. Then, at ReveMoto, we scuff the primer before the painting process to promote better adhesion as well.
While this stage seems simple enough, skipping it altogether or not prepping a part properly can cause major issues with paint peeling or flaking later down the line.
Like Goldilocks, this needs to be just right. There is such a thing as too much sparkle in an area, which creates blotches, or too much paint creating unwanted paint effects. At ReveMoto, each member on our paint team goes through a thorough training program, whether they have prior experience or not, to ensure their techniques and skill exhibits our infamous ReveMoto quality. This means you'll get a factory-like paint finish and shine on our painted products.
Additionally, we use a high-quality paint line to ensure your part upholds the test of time and won't fade through drives and washes. Using the proper amount of coats of paint (while using a reputable paint line) and topping it off with a high-quality clear coat is so important for your car's exterior to last. This is where many lower priced shops and companies will cut costs, and you won't notice it until a few months after driving your car on the road when the paint starts fading over time, chipping off easily or even peeling off your car.
Ever noticed your reflection looks better on some cars than others? The final part of our process takes patience and precision. To get that smooth, high-quality shine and gloss, sometimes it takes some extra cutting, buffing and polishing. That's why we have an entire quality control department dedicated to making sure your newly painted part looks just like your car rolled off the factory's assembly line.
Carefully swaddled, bundled and wrapped, your brand new painted auto body part, whether it's metal or plastic, is properly packaged for shipping. We never fold our bumpers to fit into smaller packages, so you can rest assured that the integrity of your painted part will last - whether for a month from now or for years to come.
We've got you covered! There's no rocket science behind the work we do, just pure dedication and hard work in making sure each part is perfect before we ship it out to you.
In each of the videos below, we share our step-by-step process from starting with your raw, unpainted part to packaging up your finished painted auto body part and shipping it right to your door.
Unlike many other painted car parts suppliers, we use top-quality paint that is designed to last the life of your car. We sell to both collision centers and end consumers alike, so you're getting the same superior paint finish as if you're taking your car to a high-end paint and body shop. When it comes to your new car parts, we don't cut costs where it matters most.
Proper prep work and type of paint used determines how long your painted car parts will last. So, if you're looking for a quick fix and the cheapest painted car parts available, then we might not be the best option for you. But, if you're looking for an OEM-comparable paint finish to your car parts that will last for years to come, then you've come to the right place. Our goal is to offer an economical alternative to replacing your exterior car parts while still maintaining the quality and integrity of your car.
