If you are thinking of changing your front bumper but aren't sure if you'll be able to do it yourself, you've come to the right place. Here's a step by step instructions on how to remove your 2018-2020 Honda Accord front bumper.
The tools you'll need are the following:
Philips screwdriver
Flat Head screwdriver
Panel clip remover tool
1. Open the hood.
2. Loosen the clips off the top of the front bumper.
3. On the side, remove three clips using a panel clip removal tool or flat head screwdriver. Be careful not to break the clips as you can use it when you install a new bumper.
4. Remove the radiator cover.
5. Remove the clips underneath the front bumper using a panel clip removal
6. Remove the clips on the splash shield/lower engine cover, still underneath the car. There are a total of eighteen clips underneath.
7. Pull out the lower engine cover.
8. Twist the wheel to loosen the fender liner.
9. Remove two screws and a clip on the side of the fender liner.
10. Pull the front bumper gently off the bumper retainer.
11. Repeat the steps 8, 9 and 10 on the other side.
12. Gently pull the whole front bumper a little bit, just enough to remove the plugs of the fog lights.
13. Unplug the fog light connectors
14. Remove the front bumper completely.
