Installing a fender can be a little bit challenging because you would need to continuously adjust to make sure the gap is not too tight along the door or the hood. To help you with this, we have created a step by step guide on how to install your 2014-2019 Toyota Corolla fender. (See this guide if you need help in removing the fender)
The things you'll need will be the following:
Socket wrench with 10mm socket and extension
Flat-head screwdriver
Panel Clip Remover
2014-2019 Toyota Corolla Fender from ReveMoto
1. Slide the fender to be attached to the front bumper.
2. Slide to fit the fender to the front door of the car.
3. Using the white piece bolt like plastic from the top of the old fender, push it in to secure the new fender to the car.
4. Once in place, line it up with the hook from the front bumper to put it into place.
5. Check if it lines up with headlights and the front bumper.
6. Check if the holes at the back of the fender line up with the hole near the side view mirror.
7. Three bolts on top first, screw but don’t tighten it yet.
8. Put a bolt but don’t tighten where the side view mirror, fender and hood meet.
9. Put down the hood and if the spacing between the hood and fender is correct. See if the gap is the same on the other side.
10. Lift the hood back up.
11. Tighten the bolts on top of the fender.
12. Put the rubber lining to cover the bolt.
13. Put the bolt on where the side view mirror, fender, hood meet.
14. Put two bolts underneath the fender.
15. Pull the fender liner and put a bolt to connect the fender to the body.
16. Check the door spacing, adjust if needed.
17. Insert the black fender piece, line it up and clip it. Push until you hear the click.
18. Put the circle rubber piece by pushing near the bottom of the black fender piece.
19. Insert the bumper retainer screws, put one at the front near the bumper.
20. Put another screw at the back, near the fender.
21. Put the last bolt in this area just at the bottom of where you put the bolt in step 19.
22. Snap the bumper into the bracket.
23. Just below, fix the fender liner and clip it nicely to the back.
24. Insert the pin to secure it.
25. Insert the fender liner clips. It would go all around the wheel.
26. Insert the fender liner clip at bottom of the fender/fender liner.
27. Insert the button where the fender and bumper meet to make sure the bumper doesn’t fall off.
28. Insert and screw the fender liner clip at the bottom of the fender and front bumper.
29. Screw the final bolt to secure the front bumper, just near where you screwed the fender liner clip in step 28.
30. Open the door and put the the exterior mirror cap and push it into place.
31. Install the windshield cowl cap by sliding and pushing it into place.
32. Do final check, your Corolla fender is now installed.
